  1. Would I be correct in assuming the posts for the new lights were originally tram power posts ? Or would the current be incorrect. Great picture Bryz . Fascinating subject .

      1. Thankyou for that. I’m sure the history of the electricity supply is fascinating . Up here in the rural Highlands of Scotland many houses have only had ‘ the tricky ‘ since the early 60s and that was due to the Hydro schemes . It’s been interesting finding out about it. Of course it’s all Wind Turbines and huge pylons prancing through the Glens too now. Regardless of points of view , spoil the views but I want to use my IPad etc , there’s no going back .
